- [Instructor] Now, whilst we could use the V-Ray blend material that we will look at later on in order to help us create complex shaders in V-Ray, such as car paint materials, what we have in the car paint shader is a ready-made option that has everything we need in order to create typical, metallic-looking car paint surfaces. The material comes with the four basic components already setup, as it were. So, we have a base color rollout, where we find color, reflection, glossiness, and bump controls. We have a flakes rollout with a whole bunch of parameters that can effect the look of those. We have a coat rollout that houses color, strength, glossiness, and bump options, and then, we have a set of global reflection controls that let us apply settings to reflection properties on all of the above layers simultaneously.
