Frame artwork

- [Instructor] This week, I'm going to focus on hanging a piece of artwork on the wall with a frame around it. I'll start by modeling a wall, drawing a rectangle. I'll have that be 10-feet wide by five inches in depth. Then, I'll pull that up to a height of eight feet, and then I'll triple-click to select all contiguous objects. And then right-click and make that a group. And then on this wall, I will draw a rectangle representing the artwork itself. And I don't really know the aspect ratio or the size, so I'm just going to arbitrarily make a rectangle. And then I will go to the paint bucket tool, and on the Mac, you have to go to the SketchUp picker by clicking on the brick. In Windows, there is no separate picker, so you're already there. And then here, you want to select Colors-in-Model from the dropdown list, and the shortcut for that, of course, is to click the home symbol. This shows us that, currently, there's only one material in the model, namely, the default material. I'm…
