Explore linetype

- [Instructor] This week I'm going to discuss a new feature in SketchUp 2019, which is linetype. So to get started with this, I've provided this asset which was developed in my Modeling Exteriors from Photos course. This is actually my house. And I've provided a satellite image of the neighborhood here. What we're going to do is trace the property lines and explore how we can assign different linetypes to them. We'll also explore making one of the elements in this house optional and we'll indicate that with a linetype. So to start this process, I'll look at this model from the top view and switch into parallel projection mode. I'll zoom in here and just roughly trace out the property lines as we can see in the satellite image. (mouse clicking) That creates a surface which I don't actually need so I'm going to select that and delete it and then orbit and switch into perspective again. So there's the property lines. And if I select one of those edges, you won't find linetype up here…
