- [Narrator] Hi, I'm George Maestri, and today we're going to look at how to turn floor plans into walls as efficiently as possible. Now typically, when we draw from a floor plan, we'll get a lot of little extraneous construction lines like we have here. And often you'll have to go through and use the eraser tool to clean all of that up and that can get very time-consuming. So I'm going to try and draw a floor plan similar to this and just show you some techniques for making it as clean as possible. So here we have a floor plan. Now, a lot of people will tell you you need to group that floor plan before you start actually drawing your building. And that gives, actually, good advice, because that way your building doesn't stick to the floor plan, and so on, but if you want to draw really efficiently, a lot of times it makes sense to actually have that floor plan projected on to your walls.
