Detailing counter and lower cabinets
- [Instructor] In this video, we're going to detail one of the lower cabinets. Open the Kitchen 6 exercise file. Let's zoom in here on this lower cabinet. Double-click on the object to open the group for editing. Let's begin by creating a counter top that projects beyond the surfaces of the drawers and doors. Double-click on the top face to select it and its boundary edges. Press M for the move tool. Click the corner point. Move the cursor down in the blue direction and press the option or Alt key twice so that you move into this mode where you can copy the edges. Type 1.5 + Enter to create this depth of a counter. Press the Space bar. Select this face and then press P for the push/pull tool. Click and push it in a distance of 1.5. Enter. Let's do the same thing over here. Click, move it in. Type 1.5 + Enter and press the Space bar. Select this edge and then hold the Shift key down and select this edge. Press M for the Move tool. Move the cursor to this edge. Click to start moving and…
