Designing an island at an angle

- [Instructor] One of the things that I didn't like in the old kitchen design, was the fact that the kitchen island is set up, so that the dining room and the kitchen flow together. But, it completely leaves out the living room, which is over here. In the new design, which we can toggle on with the layer. I want an island that at a 45 degree angle, so that it equally addresses the dining and living spaces. Set Layer New, as the current layer, and then draw a line by pressing l, and clicking on this corner of the pantry. Let's draw this over 29 inches. And then draw another line that's 39 inches long. So type 45 Enter. Then press the Space Bar to go to the Select tool. To facilitate drawing this island at an angle, let's change the coordinate axes.
