- [Instructor] If I were to scale this panel, let's see what happens. I'm going to zoom in here and grab it from the middle grip on the side, and scale it over. The panel gets wider, but so does the texture map. So this is not a realistic condition. If you had a fabric, it would have a certain pattern on it, and when you make the panel wider, the fabric isn't going to stretch. It's going to maintain its same aspect ratio. So, to compensate for this, we're going to have to create duplicate materials that work in the different scales. So I am going to undo and go back here, and let's look at what we have in terms of the material, at this point. So I have this material here, Fabric 48. I'm going to edit that material, which on the Mac you can do by double-clicking on the material, and in Windows you go to the Edit tab, and you can see down here that this has a texture map which is 18 inches in width and height.
