Create flights of stairs for any rise and run

- [Instructor] In this video, I'm going to show you a technique for generating a flight of stairs that works in any situation. So it works for an arbitrary rise and an arbitrary run. And I'm going to begin by setting my units in Model Info to Architectural so that I can input feet and inches, and then I'm going to draw a rectangle here from the origin point over, and then I'll pull it up to the height of my second floor. Let's say it's nine feet, so type 9' Enter, and then just to show you that this works in any arbitrary situation, not just with integer numbers of feet, I'm going to pull that up a little bit more, and I'm not sure how far I pulled it up, just a little bit more so that we have an arbitrary height. And I'll press the space bar and triple-click on this object. Right-click and make it a group. Move that back along the green axis. The total run, let's say it's 13 feet.
