Create elevations
- [Instructor] Elevations are another important way to communicate your ideas to your client, so let's take a quick look at how to do elevations in SketchUp. It's really just getting the right view and then adding whatever dimensions you want. So, we can go into this Perspective View, and if we want, we can change it to Parallel Projection, and then change our views, to say, a Front View. So now, that's essentially an elevation, but we can go a little bit further. One of the ways to do this is to use style. So, if we want, we can use a Hidden Line style, or maybe Construction Documentation style, but we're looking for something that's pretty straightforward and neutral. Now in this case, I am going to turn off Axes, and now we have a fairly good elevation. Now one of the things with elevations is, typically, you will add things like dimensions and labels, so let's go ahead and do some quick dimensions.
