Control object visibility

- [Instructor] In this video, I'm going to explore different ways we can control the visibility of objects on screen. And I'm going to show you these different techniques in the context of modeling a door. So let's begin by selecting this wall and hiding it. So I can do that by choosing edit, hide. Of course, you can redisplay the wall at any time and it could be tomorrow, it doesn't have to be in this session. You can just go back to edit and choose unhide, either the last object that was hidden or all of the objects. And because this is something that I tend to do a lot of, I've assigned a keyboard shortcut to that so I can hide and unhide very easily. Now I'm going to model a door. So I'm going to zoom in here, the base of this opening and draw a rectangle from this corner right there. And I want this rectangle to go over to the corresponding point on the jamb there and it's not necessarily on the trim. So what I'd like to do is look through this object. This is another form of…
