Artistic renderings with SketchFX
- [Instructor] This week I'm going to discuss a rendering plug in called SketchFX from Fluid Interactive, the same company that makes the AmbientOcclusion plug in that I covered in another video. In fact, this plug in works with AmbietOcclusion if you have it installed. So, I recommend downloading the free trial that's good for 10 days to check this out. If you decide to buy it, down below you'll see that the Pro version is $89 and the Ex version that supports animation is a bit more at $149. So I've already downloaded the free trial. I'll go an install it now into SketchUp by going to the extension manager and clicking on install extension, and there's the file that I downloaded. Once it's installed you can close the extension manager and you'll see that there's a toolbar that has just a single button on it, apply effect. This will open up a user interface for the plug in.
