Animate section planes

- [Instructor] You can animate section planes to make it look like a building is growing out of its floor plan. This model contains a group containing all of the walls, and underneath that we have the floor plan. I'm going to double-click on the group to open it and then choose Tools, Section Plane. Accept the default name and symbol and click Place. And then position the cursor over the ground and click. This inserts the section plane within the group. I'll go to the move tool and move this up. And you can see the effect of what the section plane is doing. It's cutting through everything. And then let's go ahead and open up the Styles window or expand it in the default tray. And then I'll edit the style and go to the last page here on the modeling page. And right here we can choose whether we're going to see the section plane, whether we're gonna see its cut, and whether we're gonna see the fill inside of the geometry that's been sectioned.
