Animate a door as a dynamic component

- [Instructor] This week I'm going to show you how to animate the door opening and closing by converting this into a dynamic component. And you'll need the pro version of SketchUp to do this. Let's start by looking at what we have in this model. And I've added additional elements here since last week. I've added a strike plate, a bolt inside of there. I've added hinges and other details. So let's take a look at the structure here by opening the outliner. And we have a number of components here and we also have the wall group. Let's start by selecting the door component. And then right-click on that and open up dynamic components component attributes. And this is where we design the dynamic component functionality. I'll open up the door. And add an attribute to that. I'd like to control the rotation in the Z direction. And here's the value right now is zero. I'm going to click in there and just change that to 90. And you can see that the door has rotated but it rotated the wrong way…
