- [Instructor] This week, I'm going to discuss a rendering plugin for SketchUp called ambient occlusion and this brings the concept of attenuating the ambient light which is all around. The net result is that you have areas of darkness where you have overhangs and sheltered areas and this technique adds a great deal of realism to the scene without very much trouble. So let's go ahead and go to the following url where you can find this plugin and you can download it and use it free for 10 days after which you'll have to buy it and there's a pro version for 99 and there's another version over here which supports animation. So go ahead and download that. To install, you'll go over to the window menu, open up the extension manager and click install extension and then select the rbz file that you downloaded.
