- [Teacher] As we start to reshape and model objects,…there are many times when we'll need to manipulate more…than one edge or face at a time.…Now SketchUp has a lot of tools…that help you to select faces and edges which are connected.…So let's start off with a simple edge here.…So I'm going to select the peak of this roof,…which is just one single edge.…Now I can right click over this,…and this will allow me to select things…that are connected to it.…
So I can select Connected Faces,…and that will select these two faces…which are directly connected to that edge.…In fact, they share that common edge.…Now this works for multiple edges as well.…So if I were to say, left click and highlight…the sides of this chimney,…I can again right click and go Select, Connected Faces,…and it will select anything…that is connected to those faces.…
Now the other option is to select an edge, right click,…and do Select, All Connected.…And this will select all faces and edges…that are even remotely connected to that edge.…And in this case, it selects everything…
