Adding the cables
- Chapter six, 07, adding cables. I'll pick a tricky one. Okay, the rest of it should be fairly simple, because this is square at the moment, cause we haven't swiveled this, this is square to the red axis. But what we're going to do is use this tool here, the axis tool, so we can redefine the axis. And then we'll be able to create a plane sort of perpendicular to that axis. And then use the freehand tool to create sort of a shape that resembles a cable coming out of the top and then coming back in. And then we'll use follow me with sort of a crude circle on it just to give us the effect of a cable coming out. Okay, so that's the plan. Uh, let's use the axis tool first. And we're going to come in and hit that midpoint of this what makes the switch. That's our origin. Then across this back bit, that's our red axis. And then the green axis is heading off in this direction. Okay, so now we've got our axis changed so blue's pointing up, red's coming down that way, and green is going off in…
