Add functionality to SketchUp

- [Instructor] In this video, I'm going to explore different ways of adding functionality to SketchUp. And these include dragging and dropping Ruby scripts into the Plugins folder, adding plugins and extensions through the built-in Extension Warehouse and the SketchUcation store. So let's get started with the historically oldest way of adding functionality to SketchUp and that is by dragging Ruby scripts into the Plugins folder. So where is the Plugins folder? It's actually a very deep folder nested in your operating system. So in the Mac, I'll choose Go. From the Finder, Go To Folder and I'll type in this folder. And the tilde in the front means go to my user library. And so it's going to go to this folder. In Windows, you're going to go to a different folder. And either way, you'll find a Plugins folder in there. And here, we have a number of different Ruby scripts with the .rb extension and they have corresponding folders.
