Add basic color and texture
- [Instructor] As we start to finalize our residential project we'll want to start adding textures and materials so that we can get a sense for what this will really look like when it is finished. Now we have in our textures folder, a couple of images. Now we've selected these materials to go along with the theme of natural materials that are contrasting. So we have a wood siding. We have a smooth stucco. It's called a steel trowel stucco. We have some concrete, as well as some metal siding. So these are going to be the main materials that we will use for the house. So let's go ahead and start with the wood siding. Now I'm going to import these as textures. It makes it much easier to place these accurately in the scene. So if we want we can double-click until we get to the point where we can select one of these faces and in the outliner you'll see that we've double-clicked on the group walls exterior and then actually on the object itself and now we can do a file, import and we want…
