Create depth of field effects

- [George] Hi, I'm George Maestri, and today, we are going to do depth of field in SketchUp using Photoshop. Now this requires us to export what's called a depth map or a Z-buffer. Now SketchUp doesn't normally support this, but I'll show you a little workaround so that you can get this effect. Now we're starting off with this file here, and this is a rough approximation of the San Francisco ferry building at the bottom of market street. And when you have a large building like this, a lot of times, it's nice to have a sense of depth in your rendered image. So if I were to say, position the building like this, I would want the back part of the building to have less focus than the front part. Now we can't do this in basic SketchUp, but we can do it using Photoshop in conjunction with a few special tricks. So let's see how to do this.
