Importing a reference image

In this video here I'm going to show you how to import a reference image, to use as reference during the sketching process. If you open up file 0102, what I'm going to do is add a layer, above the background layer, and rename that to reference. Onto this layer, I'm going to add our reference image. So go to File> Add Image. Pick reference image 0103, and I'm going to scale this image down, and I'm just going to place it in the top corner like so. Now this image could be an image from Google, it could be an image supplied by engineering, tooling, human factors, or another designer. And it's always good to have this on hand to reference colors, shape. And maybe for inspiration. Once the image is placed, you can just switch it off using this eyeball and go back to at any time to pick up additional data that you may need to complete your sketch.
