Learn how to streamline your UX workflow and collaborate more effectively with developers using Sketch.
- [Instructor] This course is designed to provide you with guidance on how to streamline your design workflow to best prep your files for handoff to front end developers. I want to share how I've begun to create a process within Sketch that has helped me to become more aware of development needs, as well as allowed for better collaboration to occur between the designers and front end developers on my team. Ultimately, this creates a more efficient way of working for the whole team. I'm a UX designer at a design and research company where I work with other designers, researchers, and developers to focus on experience driven solutions for all sorts of companies.
Over the course of the next few chapters, I'll be sharing some tips on how to set up your symbols, fonts, and styles in Sketch so that you can keep your files organized and structured for you and your dev team's sanity alike. We'll also be looking at plugins and templates that can help us expedite and automate parts of the design process that can oftentimes feel tedious. By the end, you should feel confident that your Sketch files are not only well organized, but also developer friendly so that your dev team can easily pick up and run with your designs. I'm excited to share this with you all, so let's get started.
