It may seem obvious to most, but when you get set to optimize graphics for use on a website, you should ensure that it’s at the correct size (dimensions). A graphic that is too small may be scaled larger on a web page leading to a bad looking graphic. A graphic that is much too large will contain too much data and may take too long to load on a web page. That’s why it’s important to get have initial size be as close to the size used on the page as possible.
