- [Instructor] In this video we're going to take…a hand sketch utilizing an example of an icon from earlier.…And, explore how we can manipulate type.…Now you'll see on my hand sketch…it says, Visit Cali.…Cali is usually utilized as a short version…of California.…And so first, what we're going to do is we're going to…go to Insert.…Text.…And, it automatically add something onto our screen here.…
So we're going to go ahead and put in Visit.…And this is, as you can tell from our sketch,…is going to be a different font…than our Cali.…So let's go ahead and do that a second time,…go to Insert.…Text.…And create another one for…Cali.…And now we have our two text elements.…For Visit, the first thing we're going to do is…we're going to select it.…And, we're going to change it to 24.…
We are going to use Arial black.…Now the next thing we want to do…per our sketch, it we want to change this T…to a capital T, so just select it.…Hit Shift, and T.…Now we have almost everything in place.…However, if you look at the sketch, you'll notice…
