Style guides are necessary, but often the last thing on a designer's list to do. John-Paul Ballard shows how quick and simple it is with Sketch and Zeplin.
- [Narrator] Now that we have a style guide that's…in Zeplin, it's easy to maintain and update it.…So here it is in Zeplin, I went back to our main…project screen, I have just this one project…and I'll move that out of the way…and go back to sketch.…And, I haven't actually changed anything in here…but let's say you make some updates and change some colors…you'd wanna go through the same process…that we did previously…select all of the pages on the left side…I'm gonna hold down the shift key top to bottom…and have them all selected…and just going to re export it under the plugins menu…Zeplin, Export Selected Artboards.…
And you can see now, here it shows our previous project,…when we last updated it just a few minutes ago,…and if you don't wanna replace the screens…you can actually import them as new…but if you're updating and maintaining,…I would suggest that so that you don't have multiple copies…and just keep one master copy there and I'll say import.…And we'll go ahead and open that project…and although it looks the same cause we made no changes…
