- [Narrator] Task lists give users a series of tasks they can complete to start using the product. They help users to set up the product efficiently. This pattern is different from the wizard, because while the wizard has a singular focus of walking the user through a task, the task list pattern does not. The user can complete the tasks at their own pace and the tasks on the list don't add up to a larger, single task, but rather consist of smaller, independent ones. The task list pattern gives the user a sense of immediate achievement, because users receive feedback when they've completed the task. Usually this is communicated by a visual check mark. This pattern can be used in a couple of different ways. Using responsive enabling or an equally weighted list.
