- [Instructor] When designing our pages, there's a lot of different ways to approach the design and our layout will encourage certain behaviors and interactions. We want to approach our layout with a structure in mind on how we want the user to interact with our site. For example, do we want them to browse content on the front page or do we want them to take an action. Is there primary goals we'd like to help them accomplish? Our site caters to pet owners, and we can draw some reasonable conclusions that most of our site visitors will be either dog or cat owners, since those are two very popular pets. We also gathered from our user research that both dog owners and cat owners have slightly different goals. Our dog owner Jane wants to use the site to make sure that her dog's health symptoms aren't serious, and our cat owner John wants nutritional tips and insight into cat behavior. These are generalized. Let's establish some very clear goals around specific tasks that we want our users…
