Drag and drop
- Drag and drop is a common pattern which allows the users to drag files into a drop zone. Drag and drop is best for use cases where users need to move things around and manipulate their data. Drag and drop patterns can be used to move data in a table or for customizing interfaces by dragging panels around. It's a fairly versatile pattern and can be used across a lot of scenarios. This pattern may not work so well for large data sets. For example, if you have a view with hundreds of records, you may benefit from uploading the data instead of using a drag and drop. This pattern has multiple states to indicate that a drag and drop interaction has occurred. Both the draggable object and the drop zone give feedback to the user that something is both draggable and droppable.
