Animatemate was built to build animations within Sketch without the use of exporting and importing to other applications. In this video, Renata shows you how to create an animation within Sketch utilizing this plugin.
- [Narrator] Now that we have AnimateMate installed,…we're gonna go ahead and explore…how to do a spinner with it.…Now, just some things to note, this plug-in…has a steep learning curve.…There's a lot of trial and error, and playing with things,…especially when you get to more complicated animations.…And so, if you know jay-son, which is built in,…there's the option of going in and you can edit…your animation here.…If you go to Plugin, AnimateMate, and Edit Animation,…then you'll see all the code for your animation,…you'll be able to just edit it there.…
Also, if you're familiar with programs like…Premier, or After Effects, or any one of the other…video editing programs, then some of this will feel really…comfortable for you, and you should be able to pick it up…a lot faster, but for those of you not familiar,…this may really be trial and error.…And just be patient with yourself,…it's not the most straightforward way of piecing together…things when those of us that are used to being able…to just interact with things that we see visually,…
