Choosing the right guerrilla method

(upbeat music) - You choose a guerrilla method just like how you choose any UX research method. The first thing to do is consider your open questions and narrow down a particular objective for the round of research. If you need help coming up with research goals, consider things like the stage of the project that you're in, what information you already know about your users, what your business goals are, what solutions already exist or have been proposed or where you think there are existing issues. You could have all kinds of questions like how does this feature get used? Or is this interaction better than that one? There are no wrong questions but different methods are suited to answer different questions. So start by explicitly stating what you're trying to learn, you are likely to have a bunch of different open questions and that's okay too, they'll want to narrow down to one question at a time to explore.
