Adding color to your icon can help bring your newly-minted icon to life. In this video, Renata discusses your color options, and how you can add color to the shapes you've created.
- [Instructor] I went ahead and pieced all of the elements…that we have created together into our icons.…So now we have some beautiful grayscale icons…that we're going to go ahead and manipulate with color.…If you're familiar with other design programs,…such as Photoshop or Illustrator,…Sketch works in much the same way.…So let's go ahead and start digging in.…What we'll do first is we'll start with our map pinpoints…and we'll go ahead and change those colors.…Let's first, because this is all the way down at the bottom,…let's go ahead and move this up,…so we can see it a bit better.…
All right.…We'll take this bottom Oval…and we're going to do the Border first.…And if you have to, if your Color Picker, like mine,…is off the screen you can just scroll up…to see the rest of it.…And here we can either choose in our Color Picker…here the different shades of red,…or we can change our red to a different color,…or we can change alpha.…So if I change this down to 10…it looks like our border disappears,…but actually there's a transparency there…
