The single-document design

- [Instructor] Every score that you open in Sibelius will have its own self-contained top-level window, including its own entry in the Macs doc or in the Windows Taskbar. This design makes it easy to switch between and to manage multiple open scores. On the Mac, there are menus at the top of the screen, above the title bar, the Apple menu, Sibelius, File, Edit, Window, and Help, which are not part of the single-document interface. Those menus remain stationary, and their functions affect whatever open open score is active. Windows machines do not have any stationary menus. Regardless of whether you're on Mac or PC, every top-level score window in Sibelius has a title bar at the top of the window which displays the name of the score.
