Using sticky tuplets
- [Instructor] Before we get into using sticky tuplets, let's review what we should already know about creating tuplets in general. First, we have decide on what the defining note value or duration of our tuplet it. Is it an eighth note tuplet? A quarter note tuplet? We have to decide an input that value first. So if we're going to input an eighth note triplet, the defining value being an eighth note, we're going to have to input an eighth note to begin with. So I'm going to select this bar and zoom in on it for you so you can see this better, and escape and select that reset so I can tell Sibelius where I'm going to begin, and in my keypad I'm selecting an eighth note value. Now I could just turn this into a triplet now, but I'm going to go ahead and put in my first note first, and I'll move that up an octave or two.
