- [Narrator] The tempo text style can be used for inputting tempo text, such as Allegro or Moderato. It can also be used too input metronome markings, although there is a designated metronome mark text style for that as well. When you input tempo text, it should appear in the upper left-hand corner of a bar, usually in bold font. The shortcut for tempo text is Command + Option + T on Mac, or Control + Alt + T on Windows. The tempo text style is a system text style, so while it may appear in one or possibly several positions on the score page, it will also appear in every part just as you would want it to. Now, the best suggestion I have for inputting tempo text is to make a single bar selection. So, I'm going to go up here, let's say I want to change the tempo at the top of page two.
