Technique text

- The technique text style is used for instrumental and vocal technique indications that appear in plain font above the staff. Examples of techniques include indications for pizzicato, arco, solo, mute, and so on. Technique text is usually attached to a note or it can be attached to any position within a bar. The shortcut for technique text is Command + T on Mac or Control + T on Windows. The technique text style is a staff text style so your techniques will appear only in the part that they're attached to in the score. To input a technique above the staff it's best to select the musical note in the score that you want the technique to affect. I'm going to select a note in the violin. So I'm going to go over here to the violin part, I'll click on that and zoom in a little bit for us, and Escape. Now right now, I'm going to play this real quick. This violin is playing arco.
