Opening, closing, and quitting
- [Instructor] Opening and closing scores in Sibelius is simple. If you have access to our course exercise files, you can use the Open Other button at the bottom of the Quick Start window, to navigate to the directory where you've saved those files. And I should mention, if you don't have access to our course files, when you go to Open Other, it should direct you to a Scores folder by default, where you can access Sibelius's sample scores. If you find the example Funk.sib, and open that file, you'll actually be using the same file that I'll be using for majority of this course. Now those of us with the course files, we're going to navigate to where we've stored them, and we're going to open 01_02a. Go ahead and select the file and click Open. When you open a Sibelius file, the Quick Start window goes away and the main score window will be in view. Once you have a score open in Sibelius, there are two other ways for you…
