- [Instructor] In the previou two videos, we started the new score setup process and had a detailed discussion about setting up and choosing a time signature. This video will continue us through the completion of the new score setup process. Below the time signature setup area in the new score dialogue is the pickup or upbeat bar section. If you know that your score requires a pickup bar, it's best to check the box now next to "Start". After you check the box to tell Sibelius that you want it to create a pickup bar, then you'll need to select the length of the pickup bar by choosing a note value from the dropdown menu. Be careful working in the note value field as it will sometimes add two notes together rather than replacing one value for another. If this happens, you can insert your cursor and use your delete or backspace key to remove some of the values, and then input the value that you'd like. And in case you're…
