Inputting notes into a tablature staff
- [Instructor] There may be a time when you'll need to input notes into a tablature staff. You may prefer working with tablature notation in general, or you may have a piece of music printing in tablature that you need to copy into Sibelius. Because you never know when you might need this skill, it's a good idea to at least have an understanding of how tablature note input works, since it's a bit different from other modes of input. To input notes into a tablature staff using step time or alphanumeric note input, we're of course going to tell Sibelius where we'd like to begin. So I'm going to escape, and this time I'm going to make my way up to this tablature staff here and select the bar rest in bar one. As usual, select a duration from the keypad.
