How to use the exercise files

- [Instructor] This course assumes you have the prerequisite knowledge you can obtain in our essential training basics course. Whether you're truly a beginner or not there are foundational building blocks in our basic essential training class that are certain to help you succeed both in this intermediate course and in the future as you continue to use Sibelius, so I recommend checking it out. I've been teaching Sibelius for a very long time to users of all levels, and even my most advanced colleagues have taken away quite a bit of knowledge from the basic level training. If you have access to the exercise files for this course you can download them to your desktop. Once there you can navigate through the exercise files folder to locate the Sibelius file that corresponds to the chapter or video of your choice. Not all of the videos will have associated Sibelius files, but if they do you'll have access to them. Once you locate a Sibelius file that you'd like to work with, double click on it to open the file. If you don't have access to the exercise files that's okay, you can use any of Sibelius included example scores to start with and you can create your own scores along with us later in the chapter. Let's get started.
