Create a completely different outro

- Outros can sound dramatically different from the choruses that proceed them, So much so that they can sound like completely different songs. Two great examples of Outros that sounds like entirely different songs are Derek and The Dominos "Layla" and Billy Joels' Anthony Song parenthesis Movin' Out. In some cases this happens because the outro is in fact a separate piece of music that's been tacked onto the end of the song. The end of Layla started out as an instrumental piano composition written by the drummer of the band Jim Gordon. Using an outro in this fashion makes it function more like an actual coda. Let me show you how an outro can work this way with everyone's favorite modern classic I Don't Know You. Have a listen to the initial outro that I created for the song.
