Adding and navigating through four voices
- [Instructor] When you move beyond voice two and begin inputting three or four voices on one staff, you'll find out pretty quickly that the staff will become very crowded. You'll discover why you'll rarely want to use more than two voices on a single staff. But it's still good to know how to input more than two voices, so let's go ahead and add a voice three and a voice four to an existing two-voice passage in this score. To input voice three, the process is exactly the same as inputting voice two, except you'll change your input caret into voice three, before inputting notes. You're going to select a note or rest in any notated voice, voice one or two, it's not going to matter, at the location where you want voice three to begin.
