Add digital products
- [Instructor] Shopify focuses on physical goods, so the experience is designed for that. You can still sell digital goods, you just have to install some extra functionality. To sell products with a digital download, you have to install a Shopify app. We'll cover apps for Shopify in more detail in a future chapter, but for right now you can follow along as I install this simple app. When you're ready, you can click Add app from the App Store. Go ahead and type in the URL of your Shopify store, which I can see up here. Click Log in. This will redirect us to our Shopify store, where we can see all the permissions that this app needs. This all looks good to me, products, orders, and our account data. I'll click Install app. Once you install the app, you can go to a product in the Shopify admin, and then add a downloadable file to that product. So let's click on View products.
