- Hey there, I'm Robert Carman. - And I'm Rich Harrington. - And welcome to another edition of Video Gear Weekly. And Rich, this week we're gonna talk about something that I think is probably on everybody's mind, that is, everybody who owns a GoPro and that is batteries for the GoPro. Now, the beautiful thing about the GoPro? Small, compact, takes good images, lots of options. The bad thing about the GoPro? - Small batteries that go dead pretty quickly. - (Robert) Yeah. If you've done any extended length shooting with the GoPro or you're on a vacation for a week or two having a single battery is pretty much a non-starter. And this week we wanna explore some of the differences between the official GoPro batteries and some of the third party options that are out there. - And we've actually done scientific testing, believe it or not. - (Robert) Scientific, huh? - (Rich) It was scientific, it was a controlled environment.
