What does a makeup artist or stylist do?
I know a lot of you are wondering, why work with a stylist? Or, what does a makeup artist do? It's a bit tricky here, because you understand a lot of the aspects of production. Oh, you bring in a gaffer to make the lighting look better. You have someone running the camera, like a director of photography, who knows how to get the most out of the camera. Well, if you're dealing with people, you need a people specialist to really make your on-camera folks look their best. So Kim, what are some of the things you do in your day-to-day job? >> Well, I want to make sure that you as the producer or the shooter are worried about the things you need to worry about. And I'm going to be the second pair of eyes for you. I'm going to be the person that is taking care of all the thing visually that you shouldn't have to worry about.
