Video portrait camera work
- So we just finished shooting a really fun video portrait with Blanca Ogawa here at the Ventura KO boxing club. And I just want to tell you guys some of the many things that we did. This was a fun shoot because it incorporated a lot of the lessons from different courses, everything from interviews, to lighting, to changing lenses, we were playing around with shutter speed, and slow motion, so we thought it would be fun to show you how a whole project comes together, and incorporates some of those things that we talk about here in some of the other courses. So, this shoot was a two camera shoot. So we did it with my Canon C100, coupled with the Atomos Ninja 2 recorder, and the C300 camera was basically acting as a backup camera, so with the quality that we're able to get on the Atomos Ninja 2, it does blend very nicely with C300 footage. To make sure that we had both cameras matched up, we made sure that we were on the same white balance, and more or less shooting at the same ISO…
