Using external disk recorders
- Hey there, I'm Robbie Carman. - And I'm Rich Harrington. - And welcome to back to another installment of Video Gear Weekly. And Rich, probably one of the fastest growing segments in production hardware is the disk recorder, specifically UHD and 4K disk recorders. - Yeah, these are quite popular as they give a lot of flexibility. They also combine two things that you really need to shoot good 4K video, a high quality monitor, along with assistance to see things like focus peaking and exposures and zebra bars. It's really hard, Rob, on the back of these small LCDs to actually know what you're getting. - Yeah, and this week, we're gonna talk about two products from a company called Atomos, and Atomos is you know, kind of the company I think about when I think about this growing market, among some others.
