Testing the backdrop with a monitor
- So we're back on set and we've talked about our permanent installation of the green screen, and we've talked about some lighting here in the Media Factory Studio and we have Steve who's come in to be our model because I need a stand-in before I actually start recording the scene. The worst thing you could possible have happen to you when you record green screen is to record that green screen, get back to the studio, attempt to do some keys to only realize then that nothing works and the footage will not key. So I really want to mention the idea of visualization, or testing, of your green screen set-up before you actually do the heavy lifting of your actual shooting. So the first step in terms of visualization or testing your key is to actually look at it and the best way to do that is with a professional monitor. Here I have a monitor from Flanders Scientific.
