Recovering media
- So, a real world problem that happens a lot is people reformat a memory card. You're on set, you take a card out, and you go, "Is this one backed up? "Oh yeah, I backed that up. "Okay!" You put it in the camera... "Oh no, I forgot to do that!" right as you hit the button. - Why do you have to make fun of me, Rich? I mean, I know I do that often. But you're absolutely right, this is a problem. And yes, I was pointing at myself, because I have been guilty of this. Actually, for every sort of dead card or card that's been erased, there's a thousand different reasons why it happened, but none of those reasons really matter. All you want is to be able to get your media and your footage back. - So, one of my favorite applications that I've used for a long time is real simple. It's from a company called Prosoft Engineering, and it's this one here. It's called Picture Rescue. And it's available for Mac and PC.
