Mounting a phone to a micro tripod
So Rich, most of the time when you go on set, you're used to seeing big tripods and big support systems. Dolly's and cranes, and all sorts of stabilization gear. But in reality, that's overkill for a lot of situations. And to be honest, a lot of that gear is really expensive when you just need something a little bit more steady than your hand. And-. >> Well, between the Blackmagic pocket cameras and GoPros and the phone I've got in my pocket, I've got five or six more cameras on set than I ever used to. >> Yeah, and they're all pretty good quality. I mean, you take an iPhone or a, you know, a tablet even. The cameras that are on those devices, you know, they're HD and they're going to shoot pretty good looking video.
