- Rob, for me, good menu design is important because it makes a camera easy to use. For my personal beliefs, as much as I love GoPro cameras, I find their menus to be some of the worst out there with everything buried in lots of places. And, Black Magic, on the other hand, seems to be almost Apple-esque in their elegance and minimalist. - Very much so. I mean, their sort of approach on menus is sort of like, "We're gonna kinda set most of these things, "and we'll give ya the option for the things that "you might wanna change, at the expense of, sort of that "OCD level control that a lot of "camera operators might want." And I agree with you, they're very simple menu systems. But, if you think about where these cameras are positioned, and the users and the broad, sort of swoth of people that they wanna attract to the cameras, over-complexity of the menu system is something that drives a lot of people crazy. So, on one hand, I sort of admire what Black Magic has done with these camera…
