Hi, my name's Rich Harrington. Welcome to this episode of Video Gear Weekly. We're going to be talking about a problem that often affects folks, myself included, and that is shine. Maybe your subject is follicly challenged, or as they get older, or really any skin type can show shine. And, to make this easier I'm actually joined today by Kim Foley, who is a professional makeup artist and a stylist. Kim, this is a problem that affects so many folks. You know, and I, I think you see it all the time. I'm watching the news, people have been running and gunning, they're a little bit sweaty. It's just a problem that pops up. What is shine? Why do people shine? >> Well, people really have a little glow to the skin, as natural healthy skin should. And what we want to try to do for camera, because camera picks it up as a reflection and it looks profusely sweaty.
